Assistive Technology

Assistive Technology ("AT") is the hardware and software used by people with disabilities that provides access to standard computers and office equipment.  One example is screen reading software that allows a blind person to have a computer screen display read out loud, or output to a refreshable Braille display.  Another example is speech recognition software that allows someone who cannot physically type to dictate text and control a computer by voice.

Our specialists have provided services for a variety of customers including individuals, government employees (IRS, SSA), and clients of the Department of Veterans' Affairs, California Department of Rehabilitation, and California State Compensation Insurance Fund.

Network Help To Go provides consultation and training for people with low vision or blindness, and limited mobility.
